What happens when my payment plan comes to an end?
There are a number of options available when your plan finishes. You can renew at a discounted rate, you can enter into a rolling monthly agreement or you can, if you wish move to a different host, there is a one off nominal fee of £35.00 attached to the moving of your website from our servers to your new suppliers if you are still in contract, if you are out of contract there is a fee of £50.00.
Are there payment options in place to help me pay for my website?
Yes, we do offer a 12 month or 24 month interest free option to help pay for your website.
If I decide to move my website to a different supplier can I take it with me?
Yes, you can move the graphical elements of your website to a different supplier providing that you have given us three months notice. The CMS system, all coding and the IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) remains the property of Linxdesign at all times.
Do you charge for amendments?
If you have a payment plan with support with us there is no charge associated with any amendments, providing it’s within the support period specified. (Typically 2 hours).You can purchase more support as part of your ongoing contract at £35.00 per hour plus VAT. If there is no support contract, amendments may be charged at our hourly rate of £50.00 plus VAT.
Who owns the domain name of my website?
You own the domain; we are purely custodians of the domain name as long as it remains in our domain account. This gives you complete peace of mind when the domain needs renewing as we do this automatically for you, thus making sure that your website does not disappear.
How many email addresses can I have?
We give you 2 mail boxes per domain that we host. Each mailbox comes with 100mb of online storage and others can be purchased at £5.00 per month.
Do I have to have SEO and Submissions with my website?
No, you do not have to have SEO and Submissions, however without them your site will be almost impossible to find using search engines and you will not be ranked as high in Google as it takes much longer to be indexed. We can offer you SEO and Submissions at a monthly cost of £65.00 plus VAT if you decide that you want this as part of your plan.
Can you help me with a Google Ad Words campaign?
We do try and achieve high ranking organically saving you the expense of an Ad Words campaign, but if you feel that an Ad Words campaign is the right way to achieve higher rankings faster then we can help you with this for as little as £100.00 per month per domain.
What does it cost to have a website built?
Because we do not use templates, this is always difficult to quantify. We can build a small entry level website for as little as £500.00 plus VAT, however there is no option to pay monthly associated with this.
Can I amend my own website or do I have to come to you?
Yes, you can amend your own website as long as we build your site with a CMS (Content Management System). The amount of CMS required would be determined at the first meeting when your requirements are scoped out.
What happens if I can’t pay?
We understand that sometimes it may be difficult to find the funds to pay us. We always look for ways to help in difficult times, but ultimately we have a duty of care to all of our customers so we would need to look at options to help resolve any outstanding debt. We want you to succeed in your business, so talk to us; we can usually find a fair compromise.
How long does it take for my website to be built and go live?
Typically, a website can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.
