The Navigator Cafe is based at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport and has recently changed hands. The original cafe lacked an identity, which was something that the new proprietor were very keen to address.
Located under the control tower the cafe is perfectly placed for all to enjoy its surroundings. After a little research and numerous brainstorming sessions, finally 'The Navigator Cafe' was agreed upon. The history of the airfield actually dates back to WWII. Initially the land was acquired by the Air Ministry in 1939 for construction of an aerodrome and this was completed in 1941, with operations commencing in May of that year. Halfpenny Green was primarily used as a training base with a strong emphasis on navigator training. This gave us the starting point in creating the brand. We wanted to portray this within the concept, and the final branding.
The Navigator Cafe had a need for the following...

Testimonial - "The guys at Linxdesign have worked hard to give us a logo that we can be proud of. It reflects were we are perfectly. I wanted our logo to portray some of the history associated with Halfpenny Green Airport; this is something that they have achieved one hundred percent. They have also helped with our promotional items and point of sale, often giving us advice free of charge, thanks guys." - Tina Wall - The Navigator Cafe
